Project Hail Mary (out Mar 19) is a sci-fi comedy which feels like it’s borrowing the themes of Contact, Interstellar and Arrival. The plot makes no sense and it’s too long at 156 minutes, but I like the comedy offered by a goofy Ryan Gosling and a blunt Sandra Sandra Hüller. Grade: B.
