Franz (out May 21) is a drama chronicling the life of Czech writer Franz Kafka and, just like his works, the approach of director Agnieszka Holland is to make something creative and abstract. I liked the weirdness, but I'm not convinced he's the most interesting subject for a movie. Grade: B.
