Mini Review - The Waiting City
The Waiting City (out Jul 15) stars Joel Edgerton and Rhada Mitchell and is about an Aussie couple who travel to India to adopt a baby. Forced to wait a few days, cracks start appearing in their relationship and harsh truths are told. I felt the story was a bit up and down (the Isabel Lucas subplot felt pointless) but it warms to an emotional finale. Grade: B.
